As part of our 2025 Land and Liberation Series, we are honored to host Cynthia Collazo Pacheco of Boricuas con Palestina who will teach us about the importance of land, feminist movements, and more in the Puerto Rican struggle for Liberation.
Cynthia es una mujer cuir Boricua Afro-Indígena, nacida y criada en Borikén. Es activista, doula y consultora bilingüe con raíces en el entendimiento intercultural y decolonial en la creación de puentes entre comunidades (desde el activismo en las calles hasta los pasillos del distrito Capitolino) para impulsar cambios sistémicos. Se dedica a luchar por los derechos humanos y a colaborar con personas y organizaciones aliadas y alineadas en valores a crear un impacto generacional. Trabaja con colectivas, ONGs, artistas, investigadorxs, asesores legislativos y cualquier persona comprometida con trabajar por la liberación colectiva. (English Below)
Cynthia is an Afro-Indigenous queer Boricua woman, born and raised in Borikén. She is a bilingual consultant, activist and doula rooted in a cross-cultural and decolonial understanding, bridging communities—from grassroots organizing to legislative halls—to drive systemic change. Through heartfelt advocacy and probing research, she is dedicated to the struggle for human rights and helping allied and values-aligned people and organizations create generational impact. She works with collectives, NGOs, artists, researchers, legislators, and anyone dedicated to working towards collective liberation.
